ABOUT BELIEVING AND MEANING [Text]

Belief is an attitude. It can even be described as a state of mind capable of building worlds and creating new realities. It imparts strength, yet its strength can also divide and separate – between people, between parents and children, between spouses, between the believer in Jesus and the believer in Moses, between a scientist and a spiritual-minded person, between innovative individuals and conservatives etc..

I, myself, have personally met too many:

• people who connected in love, but failed to sustain relationships and family ties as they differed in their beliefs.
• unhealed diseases caused by medicines, support and healing provided within the restrictions of belief, which did not allow the possibility of new perceptions and experiences.
• people receiving insufficient treatment convinced that the key to their healing lies In the power of their belief only.
• conflicts and wars in the guise of belief.

In a space that seeks peace and pleasure, an intimate inner question is bound to emerge: what is the MEANING of the things I believe in? Examining with open eyes and a light heart whether your beliefs are holding you back and unawarely may even prevent your evolution… Does belief create “programming”and “paradigm”, reinforcing a specific worldview? Does it connect me to or separate me from my depths and my mirror, my reality?

A healthy empowering belief system is one that stimulates internal forces: life forces are inspired by faith and beliefs. When those life forces become dependent on beliefs, when a belief becomes based on an external resource and we forget ourselves in it , we separate from ourselves and from our light –as well as from our brothers and sisters whose power is inspired by a belief, truth or will different than our own.
It might even come to the point where because of holding certain beliefs, we break away even from that which we believe in. Our belief loses its meaning.

Belief is internal inspiration. Whether it stems from an object, subject or emotion, it arouses an inner truth that wakes courage, peace, connection and will .In order for a belief to endure, it seeks to breathe, to be dynamic and active, to be updated and transformed according to the internal changes we undergo.

In order for us to maintain and project the forces awarded by belief, it must be re-examined constantly. The objects, subjects or emotions can remain “unchanged”; the meaning we give them needs to be reflected.

Belief is internal inspiration. I wish to charge belief with ‘meaning’  putting aside the things I believe in and explore the meaning of the thing itself. The ‘meaning’ of power, interest, will and love emerging. While that belief drifts away and remains linked to an external object, ‘meaning’ can bring closer and allow a stable setting in the midst of thy.

‘Meaning’ examines the content, the depth of things, the value received.
‘Meaning’ asks: “What is the truth?”

‘Meaning’ calls attention inward, it gathers the energy back to the source and allows love to arise while the mind becomes curious in the innovation task. ‘Meaning’ respects differences and simply accepts that personal experience is relative to the one experiencing it and varies from one to another. ‘Meaning’ keeps you in the essence of what there is currently.
